Sky not worried by EU result

As expected the EU Comeptition Commission has expressed its satisfaction with the Premier League’s TV rights packages on offer for 2007 onwards.  Despite  the headlines across various media it is unlikely to affect BSkyB too much in that they are highly likely to win 5 out of the 6 live packages on offer.  This will leave one rights packages available with games of questionable appeal.

BSkyB have done a great job in covering football since the formation of the Premier League and will continue to provide the innovation in football coverage on television.
